You've Got Mothmail!

Dear Reader,

First of all, hello! This year is off to a rough start for many and I've been uncertain about what to write or offer, but I wanted to touch base.

For Black History Month, I'm wondering if anyone would join me in donating to Rainbow in Black? It's a 501(c)3 whose staff support Black trans youth and their families all over the nation. Statistically, this decreases risk factors for these youth and increases their chances of being happy adults! The queer, trans, and disabled communities would not be where we are today without Black activists.

I'll be posting recommendations on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook for International Play Therapy Week this week. I plan to share resources and tools that I find useful in my work with trans and autistic clients. (I'd also love to know about your favorite resources!)

I will also be presenting on May 30th at 11:30am Pacific at THRIVE (a virtual BDSM and mental health conference) and the tickets are free, though they do ask for donations if you're able! I'll be co-presenting Autism and Age Play with Sabrina Longley, LCSW, and we're going to focus on sensory joy and supporting your inner child!
