the free DIVERGE summit starts next month!

Curious Cryptid Learning

You've Got Mothmail!

Dear Reader,

Welcome to more new readers from the How to be a Neurodiversity Affirming Play Therapist training! Kade here, excited to chat with you about a large upcoming virtual event. (Not my normal type of event, either, which is exciting!)

Many of us are therapists who run our own practices - so we're entrepreneurs - and quite a large percentage of us try to create additional streams of income. (And, if we're being honest, many of us ADHDers enjoy having a secondary business to share our attention - sometimes more than one additional business.)

If you're feeling like you could use some extra support, ideas, lens shifts, or community with neurodivergent entrepreneurs and creatives that are thinking outside of the stereotypical boxes: DIVERGE is where you'll find all of that and more!

It's a free virtual event running Aug 24 - Sept 4 and there's over 23 neurodivergent presenters who will be sharing about the unique ways they're making their cool ideas work.

Sabrina & I are on there discussing collaborative partnerships and how to find a decent partner to work with! (In the VIP package, we've put two resources regarding evaluating a potential collab partner and your own needs.)

To sign up for free, click here!

If you're interested in the $97 VIP ticket for unlimited access and the bonus materials, click here and I'll receive compensation for my participation in the event.

(I'll share about it again as we get closer to the event, too.)

Keep reading to see some upcoming free events in September!

Happy learning,

Dr. Kade Sharp

September Free Event Schedule

๐Ÿ’ก The Fundamentals of Fatphobia & Healthism for Therapistsโ€‹

Saturday 9/12 at 10am Pacific (1pm Eastern) - free!

Sabrina Longley, LCSW, and I are going to be talking all about fatness, especially in regards to the impact fatphobia and healthism has on neurodivergent clients. This is a 90 minute hybrid event! We'll be recording an episode of Aces Up Your Sleeve for the first 30-45 minutes and answering listener questions- so you'll get real examples of how we talk to clients and others about this stuff- and then opening the floor to attendees to chat about causes, impacts, etc.

๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Body Doubling (for LGBTQIA+ & ND Affirming Play Therapists)

Wednesday 9/16 at 10am Pacific (1pm Eastern) - free!

An informal gathering to work on whatever projects we've all been putting off or need some extra support on. Usually a small group, a mix of chatting and silence - a pretty nice time! (Zoom info in the FB group.)
